Decidr is an AI-powered operating system on a mission to transform how business is done. We’re creating hundreds of AI micro roles to automate thousands of functions and workflows which make up the bulk of repetitive daily tasks. Think automated messaging and comms, intelligent data validation and financial forecasting.

Basically, we’re moving from a traditional copilot approach to an AI-first framework.

The role:

We’re looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team in Sydney.  All Decidr engineers work 4 days/week in our CBD office.

• Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS
• CI/CD Pipeline Implementation: Develop, manage, and optimise CI/CD pipelines
• Monitoring and Incident Response: Set up proactive monitoring systems, manage alerts, and lead incident response efforts to ensure high availability and reliability
• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with software engineers to streamline deployment processes, troubleshoot issues, and optimise infrastructure performance for AI applications.
• Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices, conduct regular audits, and ensure infrastructure meets compliance requirements to safeguard data and protect client privacy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or similar roles, with a proven track record in managing AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Strong background in infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform and CI/CD pipeline development using GitHub Actions.
• Expertise in managing relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and understanding of database scalability and maintenance.
