Senior Elixir Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Elixir Engineer with deep expertise in OTP to join our team. The primary objective is to build and scale our AI-powered platform, which aims to automate business processes and increase efficiency for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The role requires designing software for high reliability and scalability, focusing on asynchronous, concurrent, and parallel processes.
This is a remote role with flexible working hours, with some overlap required with Australian time zones

Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, reliable backend solutions using Elixir and OTP.
- Develop and manage asynchronous, concurrent, and parallel processes.
- Define architecture for high reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with the tech lead and development team to meet project goals.
- Ensure production readiness and deployment of scalable applications.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience with Elixir and OTP.
- Proven experience with asynchronous, concurrent, and parallel processes.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale, high-performance systems.
- Production experience with scalable applications.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Kubernetes deployments.
- Familiarity with the Phoenix framework.
- Knowledge of GenStage, Flow, and Broadway.
- Background in Erlang (You won't be writing code in Erlang).
