The Role As Financial Accountant at Decidr, you’ll be at the core of our financial strategy—driving financial efficiency, strengthening compliance, and building scalable systems to support rapid growth. You’ll provide critical insights, refine processes, and ensure financial integrity as we continue expanding.
What You’ll Do
- Financial Operations – Oversee ledger operations, reconciliations, payments, and general ledger maintenance.
- Month-End Reporting – Lead month-end close processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting with well-documented journal entries.
- Financial Controls & Compliance – Develop and refine financial processes to enhance efficiency and meet regulatory standards.
- Data-Driven Insights – Collaborate with internal teams to provide actionable financial insights that drive smarter decision-making.
- Process Improvement & Scalability – Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and leverage automation as Decidr scales.
What You’ll Bring
- Financial Expertise – Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
- Strategic Thinking – Analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
- Process Optimisation – A proactive problem-solver with a focus on efficiency and automation.
- Technology & Automation – Experience leveraging financial systems (Xero, NetSuite) and automation tools to drive efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Strong communicator, able to engage effectively with teams across the business.
Nice to Have
- CPA or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a high-growth startup or fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with tax compliance and investor relations.
